Did you get it right?
How did you do on the Designer match game? Here is the card I made. I think some of you got it right. That game was much more difficult than I thought it would be.

Now that is something I can live by. Today I am trying to get some creative things done, can't show you yet but very soon and it will be worth the wait. I needed a little break, so I checked my email and then started blurfing. I found this fun challenge on a site that Geeta had told me about and decided to give it a try.
Don't you just love those tshirts? I may have to get one. I didn't have all the colors, so I just did the best I could.

I have been in a bit of a creative slump since returning from Europe. So I went back to Europe this weekend. Ok not really, but I created food that reminded of my trip. In Rome, I had the yummiest Four Cheese Gnocchi. Saturday night I made home made gnocchi with yummy cream sauce and spinach. It was very good and the gnocchi is much better than what you buy in the store, but still not quite as good as in Rome.
So next I went to Paris. For dinner tonight, I made a Croque Monsieur. It was good, but again not as good as this.
Enough about my weekend yummies. While looking around on Splitcoast, I found this challenge and just had to give it a try.

Wow I got this challenge done the day it was posted. Amazing for me! Granted I still have to do two more challenges to be caught up, but I am working on one now. This is a very quick pocket card that can be used for a summer birthday or a just because card. Thanks Geeta for the fun challenge!
Here are the rules:
The challenge is to make a pocket card:

I am so behind on all the A Muse A Palooza challenges, so I thought I would try to catch up with some quick posts and cards. Here is the card I made for Elena's 'Out of the Box' challenge. I changed 'Happy Mother's Day' to 'Happy MUMMY's Day'. Gosh I am brillant huh? Ok just I think that but that's ok with me too. ;)

that I get back into the swing of things. I have been so lazy since getting back from my trip. I haven't even stamped yet. I am going to remedy that situation today though. I am in my crafty space working now ;). Heather and I had so much fun in Europe. I think I am still processing it all. So much to see and do! Being the photographer, she already has her pictures posted on her blog with little stories..such a show-off. You can see them all here~ fun times. I have a few of mine on Flickr~ check the right side of my blog. For now I will leave you with a picture of a favorite treat from my trip~ it is about all things yummy.
The very sad news about this picture is that I think they have ruined my love for Starbuck's. I stopped in the Philly airport for a coffee and got one over the weekend and they just aren't the same anymore.
I am finally home, 4 hours later than scheduled!! I sat on the plane from Philly for FIVE hours. I'll post pics and such tomorrow! Thanks for the emails.
Goodnight!
I can't believe the day has finally come; I am leaving for Europe with Heather today. It seems like just yesterday we still had over a month to go. I was talking to a friend today about the trip and it seems so surreal. I am going to three places on my "top 10 places to go" list. I just can't wrap my brain around it. I have spent the past couple months reading and researching all the places I will be visiting, but I just can't imagine. I am curious about how I will feel in each of these places. There are lots of places that I want to visit, but mostly I just want to soak in the culture of each city. Sit by the Eiffel Tower having bread, cheese and wine of course. Thinking about all the history of Rome and the Vatican. Sitting outside our apartment in Venice. Then there is the driving all over Europe. I hope to be able to post some pics(maybe videos too) during our trip. I need to document it all so I don't forget anything. Thank you Heather for letting me tag along with you!
Now two A Muse gals can't go on a trip without some A Muse luggage tags.
I had to make Heather's a bit 'halloween-ish'. I made two tags, both the same, so this is the front and back. If that makes sense ;)
And here are mine all tied to my suitcase and ready to go!! Bye for now...stay tuned for some Europe goodness!!
