It doesn't get much more simple than this. Rocket Elf isn't what I consider a simple stamp, but when you only color the tree it makes for a quick and easy card. I added a little glitter to the 'swirlies' with a Spica pen, but they don't show up well in the photo. You could make a stack of these cards in an evening.

Santa, Rudolph, and all the other reindeer are very busy on Christmas Eve. We always leave cookies for Santa, but the reindeer get hungry too. And the glitter will help Rudolph find your house. I made a cute tag using a simple A Muse deer stamp and some punches.
These tissue paper wreaths are a classic and so simple even the smallest of children can make them. (And they are a great fine motor activity for the little ones.) Using a small paper plate, cut out the middle section. Children can either tear or cut the tissue paper into small pieces, roll it into a ball and glue onto the plate. A crepe paper bow makes the perfect little finishing touch.

Have you put up your tree yet? We haven't, but I made an ornament to be ready when the tree goes up.
These are super fun! Take a regular plain ornament in any color you like (we used a silver one) I saw all the snowflakes that came out when my mom was using her EK Snowflake border punch and I couldn't let them go to waste! I used Mod Podge with a foam brush and put it all over the ornament then just stuck the little snowflakes on and added a little bling for a special touch. Then I added a pretty red and white A Muse ribbon to hang it on the tree!
I will never again underestimate the power of manufactured items. I saw something similar at a craft store, and thought "why would I ever make that when I could so easily make them?" Let's just simply say, I was so wrong. Working with crepe paper is not the easiest thing to do. I had it glued all over the place. This should have been easy- accordian fold crepe paper, make into a circle and glue together. So...you should try it and let me know how it works for you. Punched out a couple of cirlces and glittered one and....voila...an ornament!!
I have been baking today to get ready for turkey day!!
One last tag for you this week. Super simple and quick with a few punches and stamps. I used the blackberry shimmer paper~super sparkly~, but it doesn't show up well in the photo. I distressed the edges to bring out the white core.
I am not sure what is in the works for next week. I have a couple of things started, but can't decide. You'll have to stay tuned.
My MS circle cutter makes quick work of these tags. I stamped the gingerbread people with Colorbox frost white pigment ink. This tage was inspired by one Heather made earlier this year. Makes me wanna go make some gingerbread cookies and houses. Maybe Connor and I can do that next weekend. You don't have to make cookies- put this tag on a cute box of store bought cookies to make someone's day.

I am having so much fun trying all kinds of new ideas and projects. I don't usually get into making a lot of holiday stuff, so this has been a welcome change. I am also having fun trying different macaron recipes- though they all don't turn out quite so well. Who wouldn't love a little holiday sweet delivery?
