Wow, I can't believe I actually made 55 holiday projects. There were many days that I wasn't sure I would. It was a fun way to make sure I took some creative time just for me. Thanks for the support, emails, and wonderful comments. They were all much appreciated!

Call me crazy, but I already have plans to make '55 days of holidays' an annual tradition. I'll just start making the projects in January. And I am planning a few more projects for 2011. I'll be taking a bit of a blogging break until next year to enjoy time with family and friends. I get a little vacation, well a stay-cation, I guess. I am headed out to see what Connor got from Santa and then I'm gonna kidnap him. I am gonna need vacation from my vacation.

The Holiday Car just makes me happy! Add some clear twinkle sticker headlights and it becomes too cute for words. It's on sale now, so click on the link and get one. It's a stamp that will never go out of style, especially with the new VW Beetle coming in 2012. Yes, I may have my sights on a new car *wink*.

It's almost Santa time!

I resisted glimmer mist for the longest time and then didn't use it much when I finally bought it. But now, I can't seem to get enough. I just embossed the trees with clear embossing powder before spraying the card. Then, the glimmer mist wipes off the trees with just a paper towel.

The holidays are super busy and when they are finished the last thing you may want to do is spend hours making those much needed thank you cards. I think a simple homemade card is much better than an elaborate one from the store. Anyone could do that...*wink*!

Solid images, like this poinsettia, can give cards a 'wow' factor in seconds. Especially these larger images. I just stamped it in Warm Red chalk ink and embossed 'thanks' with white embossing powder. A bit of Stickles and you're good to go.

I am so ready for relaxing holiday time and lots of not so relaxing time with my favorite little guy next week.

It is the week of gift giving and with that comes the need for some cute, quick, and simple thank you cards. To say I love this card, is quite an understatement. What's not to love- a cute snowman and paper piecing? Though it does take a bit of time to cut out the tiny pieces, you could simplify it even more and just paper piece the snowman so you could quickly make a stack of cards.

I have learned that latte is my favorite A Muse paper. I guess that isn't that surprising considering my latte addiction.

Are you finished your shopping for the holidays? I bought one present and spent just over $5- yep that's all I am buying. I made the decision a few weeks ago to not buy any presents, except one little thing so Connor would have something under the tree from me. Otherwise, instead of buying presents for him and all the other people I would normally buy something for, I am just planning a fun day out with them. Really, my shopping list is small. I think it is really the way to go. I'll be sure to post photos from all my fun expeditions. I have a few planned, but have to figure out some others.

A stack of these tags could be made in less time than it would take you to run to the store and buy some. Plus, they are way cuter and funner! *wink* A little stamping, a tiny bit of coloring, and glitter is all you need- 'cuz you know glitter makes everything better.

 
And one more fun glimmer mist tag...I just can't get enough of it. I just cut out a few snowflakes, adhered them with removable adhesive before spraying the tag with glimmer mist. Since I couldn't decide which image to use, I just added a simple sentiment and some twinkle stickers.

Can you believe it? We are less than a week away from Christmas. Next week, I'll share some holiday thank you cards.

Maybe this is my favorite tag now!! Using my Slice, I cut out the two trees from scrap paper and used removable adhesive to stick them to the latte note card. A light spray of Olive Vine glimmer mist, twinkle sticker stars and ginham & red accents and voila.

This tag is so beyond simple, yet it may be my favorite so far. I just love it! I used Blue Skies Glimmer Mist to lightly spray an A Muse navy notecard. It barely shows a color on the dark notecard, yet gives it an amazing light blue shimmer when turned just right. I then stamped the Scandinavian snowflake using Colorbox frost white pigment ink. A light blue paper strip for the sentiment, a silver eyelet, and a light blue ribbon added the finishing touches to this super simple tag.

Are you tired of seeing the Cardinal Silhouette stamp yet? I can't seem to get enough of it. There is just so much you can do with it. I used the Faux Metal technique, but didn't cut out the image. I sprayed the vintage paper with some Olive Vine glimmer mist to distress it just a bit.
