GO KRIS!!

I went out with Kris' family to cheer her on yesterday! I forgot what an event it is; not only for the walkers, but for the supporters too. People dress up and even some of the men had on fake breasts. Can't forget all the breast related puns you could ever need. Kris seemed to be doing really well; just a few blisters. I somehow managed to keep myself together~ don't think I'll have the same luck today at Closing Ceremonies.

I made her this book so she can write about the journey and add all the fun things you pick up along the way!

I found all my 3Day pictures and epherma yesterday and am starting a mini book.

Halloween Frame

While getting ready for my craft fair, I found some frames I had picked up at the Target $ spot. I made some Christmas ones and some anytime ones. Then I had the idea to make a Halloween. The only problem; I couldn't part with it. So now it is just waiting for the perfect picture this year. I am excited that Halloween is finally on a Friday. I have the chance to go trick or treating with Connor.

I used the new Making Memories Halloween paper and a little A Muse ribbon to finish it off.

I haven't posted in a week. I thought it was just a few days ago. I have been so busy working on cards and bracelets for the craft fair. I had some help yesterday from my mom, SIL, aunt, grandmother and of course Connor. My aunt and grandmother really helped me with some cards~ of course I had them coloring a ton of stuf. They may never volunteer again. We had a little assembly line of bracelet production and got those finished quickly.

I started a week in the life project Saturday. As you know, I am a huge Ali Edwards fan. She posted this, so I am following along. So far, I am just taking pictures and jotting down some notes. Not sure what kind of book I will create yet. Here are a few pics I have so far.

My Europe mini album

I have become the biggest fan of Ali Edward's work recently. When I saw her travel kit on Cocoa Daisy, I knew I had to have it for my Europe trip with Heather. I pretty much just copied Ali's book because it was perfect. It's funny...even though I copied it, they look completely different.

I had so much fun making this little book. And you have to check this out, Heather's mom made an album too. Her's is just Venice pics and so very cool.

You may remember this card I made a while back. Well it was made from the scrap paper from this project. Heather brought this book with her to Europe. I think I read it 5 times. I have Ali's other two books and this one is by far my favorite and now she has the new one coming out next month. I may need to invest in them both. Well this is one of the simple projects from her book. A little book all about you.

I didn't have any index cards, so I made my own using cardstock and SU tab punch. I used A Muse clear stamps to make the label~ the paper has a bit of a glare for some reason. The idea of this book is to add little things that you like~ pictures, labels, anything you like. Mine is still empty, so I need to get to work on the filling process.
