Home Alone

Jennie used the movie Home Alone for her challenge.

 

Her challenge is to make a card that reminds you of your childhood Christmas. I instantly thought of all the letters I wrote for Santa. We never mailed them, just put them under the plate of cookies. I had to leave him a treat and remind him that I really had been nice; not naughty. As you see, even I sometimes forgot which I was. *wink*

 

A Christmas Story

Most families watch "It's a Wonderful Life" or some other traditional Christmas movie, but not mine. I remember always watching A Christmas Story~ and yes I tried sticking my tongue to a pole once. Thankfully, it wasn't THAT cold so I was safe. And although we never shot our eyes out with his bb gun, we did have a couple incidents.

 

The first challenge of VMAA is to make a card for a child.

I am so excited to bring you the first challenge of VMAA!! You had to know I would find a way to tie this into my Europe trip right? ;)

Your challenge is to make a card inspired by this picture!!

Recognize the house from the first picture? How cool is that? This is from Burano, Italy~ a cute island known for it's lace and colorful houses. I just fell in love with this particular house.
